Pulaski County Daily Source
Pulaski County posts no page labeled 24-hour arrests, recent bookings, new inmates, or a daily jail list. That absence shapes every search. The Pulaski County Detention Center roster landing page links the current list of inmates. It leads to the official Pulaski County JailTracker roster. That is the first stop for anyone held now.
The distinction matters. A roster answers a custody question at the moment you check it. It does not prove each result was booked today. Someone released, transferred, cited without lodging, or still in processing can be missing from it. No official page offers a daily archive or a fixed 24-hour cutoff. Start with current custody, then move to direct confirmation when the roster does not settle the question.
Check Pulaski Arrests Today
The official route is short. Each step answers a different question. Use enough identifying detail to separate people with similar names, and never treat a missing name as proof that no arrest occurred.
- Open the official PCDC roster landing page and follow its current-inmate link to JailTracker.
- Check for the person believed to be in custody. The available search controls and result fields were not confirmed because the application did not render during research.
- If the page fails or the booking is very recent, call the Pulaski County Detention Center at 606-678-0130 and ask for current-custody direction.
- For a released person or a historical confirmation, request the booking or intake record for the named person and date from the proper custodian.
- Use the Pulaski County recent arrests hub to find the court and agency paths needed to verify what happened after booking.
A phone call reaches only what PCDC may release. Staff may point you to a written request instead. Give a full legal name, an approximate arrest or booking date, and the record you want. Booking time and arrest time are not always the same.
Pulaski Daily Record Fields
The live JailTracker roster publishes no fixed field list. Do not count on seeing a mugshot, charge, bond, booking time, or agency in every result. Details can vary. A focused records request can ask whether the official intake record carries each item.
| Requested field | Why it helps |
|---|---|
| Full legal name and booking number | Separates the person and record from similar names. |
| Booking date and time | Shows when PCDC accepted the person, which may differ from arrest time. |
| Arresting or committing agency | Identifies who may hold the incident or arrest report. |
| Charge or intake basis | Records the charge, warrant, citation, detainer, order, or commitment as entered. |
| Custody or release status | Helps explain why a person is present or absent from the current roster. |
| Booking photo, if releasable | Asks the custodian to decide access without assuming public display. |
Protected information can be withheld or redacted. Juvenile records, victim details, medical facts, sealed material, and confidential investigative information stay off the public list. Expect none of those fields. Public booking records serve a narrower purpose.
Note: The official Pulaski roster's booking-photo display and exact result fields remain unconfirmed, so third-party cards cannot fill that gap.
Why Pulaski Bookings Lag
An arrest starts a process, not an instant web post. Transport, identity checks, medical screening, intake, and data entry each take turns. A transfer or release can happen at any point. So a new name may not appear at once. Pulaski County publishes no measured lag and promises no refresh cycle. The sheriff's weekday hours prove nothing about JailTracker's schedule.
The JailTracker application sometimes fails to load. Its landing page still names it as the county's chosen current-roster destination. If it stalls, retry later or use the PCDC phone path. Never borrow field behavior from another Kentucky county running the same vendor. Each installation can expose different details and policies.
Pulaski Arrest Versus Custody
A daily arrest question mixes several record states. The arresting officer creates an agency record. PCDC adds an intake record if the jail accepts the person, while the live roster tracks current custody. A court file later holds the arraignment and disposition, so no single source replaces the rest.
- Arrest
- The taking of a person into custody under legal authority.
- Booking
- The jail intake process that creates an administrative custody record.
- Bond
- Conditions set for release while a case proceeds.
- Disposition
- The court's recorded outcome, such as dismissal, plea, or judgment.
PCDC serves a wide field of agencies. It books arrestees for the sheriff plus Somerset, Burnside, Ferguson, Science Hill, and Eubank police, along with Kentucky State Police and Probation and Parole. So the booking site and the arresting agency can differ. A city department may hold the originating report while PCDC holds the jail intake record.
No Pulaski Arrest App
Pulaski County offers no sheriff or jail app. It has none for daily bookings, inmate photos, or new-arrest notices. PCDC and the sheriff link to VINE instead. Agencies may post announcements on social media. Those channels are not complete daily arrest reports. A general emergency alert or police post should never be relabeled as a roster.
For one named person, the VINELink Inmate Check explains status searches and free custody-change notices. VINE is a notification tool, not a same-day feed, court docket, or booking-photo archive. The PCDC roster stays the first stop for county custody.
Request Pulaski Booking Proof
A name may vanish. Or the roster never settles it. Write to the agency most likely to hold the record. Kentucky's Open Records Act request rule allows requests by hand, mail, fax, or email. No agency can insist on one special form. Ask PCDC for the booking or intake record. Ask the arresting agency for its arrest or incident report. Name the person, the date, and the record you seek.

When you ask for booking proof, be specific. Spell out the person's name, the rough date, and the record type. List the exact fields you need. The custodian then has options. They can hand over the record. They can redact protected parts, cite an exemption, or state that the agency simply does not hold it. Some searches span several days. Others reach into older files. For those, the Weekly Arrest Log is the better route.
Note: A released person may drop off a current list even though the underlying Pulaski County booking record still follows its own retention rule.
Read Arrest Charges Carefully
A Pulaski County booking entry records an arrest and a custody event, nothing more. A warrant can be the basis. So can a citation, a probable-cause affidavit, a detainer, a court order, a federal writ, or a commitment. Courts often change or dismiss what first appeared at booking. For the final result, check the Pulaski Circuit Court Clerk or the proper court record instead of drawing conclusions from a daily listing.
Timing matters on a same-day check. A roster result from the morning and a court result from later may show different stages, not a contradiction. Note when you checked each source. The arresting agency may use an incident number while PCDC assigns a separate booking number. Keep those identifiers tied to their own records. If a charge description differs, ask the custodian for the original record and the later court entry rather than trusting whichever version looks newest.
The same caution applies to a missing booking photo. The sheriff's office does not state that photos appear on every public roster result. A wanted-person image on the sheriff's bulletin serves a different public-safety purpose and does not signal a general jail photo rule. When a legitimate records question needs one, request a releasable photo from the proper custodian. Skip unofficial copies for identity, custody, or case outcomes.
