Check Pulaski VINELink Custody

A Pulaski County VINELink inmate check tracks one person's custody status after an arrest. It sends notice of a release or transfer. Kentucky VINELink pulls status data from participating county jails, prisons, and certain facilities. It is not a full daily arrest report. The Pulaski County jail directs readers to Kentucky VINE. The state does not promise every local booking appears right away. Search by name or offender ID. Compare matches with care. Register for free alerts when a custody change matters.

Pulaski VINELink Coverage

The Pulaski County Detention Center's resources page points to Kentucky VINE. So does the sheriff's site. That makes VINE an intended route for county custody information. But it does not promise a healthy feed. It also does not prove that every PCDC booking is searchable at all times. The state describes VINE as free and automated. It collects status information from county jails, prisons, and certain facilities.

Turn to VINELink for a named person's local or state custody status and alerts. For the narrower question of who is held at the county detention center right now, use the official PCDC current-inmate route. Neither source stands in for a court docket. It is no substitute for charging paper, an arrest report, a warrant check, or a booking-photo request.

Note: PCDC's VINE link shows the intended service path, but Kentucky does not promise that every Pulaski record is always present or current.

Pulaski VINELink Result Fields

VINELink centers on custody status and notification. Exact fields vary by contributing facility and record type. Kentucky's official materials support the broad information below, while PCDC has published no county-specific promise for every field.

Result informationHow to read it
Custody statusThe service's reported current custody state, subject to source updates.
Custody locationThe local jail, prison, or participating facility tied to the result.
Offender identifierA system identifier that can separate similar names.
Possible release informationStatus information may appear when supplied; it is not a court guarantee.
Notification optionThe route to request notice of status changes.

A VINE record is not an arrest log entry. It may show where a person is held yet leave out the booking basis, arresting agency, bond history, photograph, or final case outcome. A transfer can also create two records. Kentucky advises registering on both the local and DOC result when each matters.

Identity check: A matching name is not proof of identity. Compare the available custody and identifying context before acting on a result.

Register Pulaski Custody Alerts

After opening the correct result, choose "Notify Me of Status Changes." Kentucky allows registration by telephone or email. Multiple phone numbers and email addresses are permitted, which helps when several trusted people need direct notice. Registration is free.

  1. Select the notification option on the relevant local jail or state DOC record.
  2. Choose telephone or email and enter the destination that can be monitored safely.
  3. Create the required four-digit PIN for phone notice acknowledgement.
  4. Confirm the registration and retain enough record information to edit it later.
  5. Register separately for a second relevant record if VINELink shows both local and DOC custody entries.

Automated calls may repeat for up to 24 hours until a PIN is entered or the call acknowledged. They do not come through a jail switchboard. The person in custody is never told who registered. For statewide VINE help, call 1-800-511-1670.

How Pulaski Alerts Arrive

A notification can report a release, transfer, or other custody change once the contributing system sends the event. Treat it as a prompt to verify, not the sole basis for a safety decision. The Kentucky Attorney General's VINE information describes round-the-clock status access and warns users against relying on the service alone for safety.

A release notice does not explain the court result. Release may follow bond, a citation, sentence completion, transfer, or another legal event. A transfer notice likewise settles nothing about the case. Confirm custody with PCDC or the receiving facility, and check the Pulaski court record for the disposition.

Release
A reported end to custody at that facility, which may not end the court case.
Transfer
A move to another facility or authority.
Disposition
The court's formal case outcome, which VINELink does not replace.

Fresh Pulaski Arrest Checks

VINE can lag a fresh arrest. The person must be processed, and the source system must send usable data. Pulaski County publishes no measured VINE delay. There is no feed-health page or guarantee that all PCDC records appear. A blank search can stem from spelling, identity, processing, transfer, release, or source availability.

The Daily Arrest Report route leads to the official PCDC roster. It makes no claim to an official 24-hour feed. If JailTracker will not render, do not wait. Call the detention center at 606-678-0130 for current-custody direction. A focused written request works better for a past booking.

Do not rely on one alert: Confirm a Pulaski custody change with PCDC or the responsible facility, especially when personal safety is involved.

Pulaski VINELink Limits

VINELink covers participating local and state custody systems. It is not a federal locator. Someone moved into federal sentenced custody may require the Federal Bureau of Prisons Inmate Locator. Immigration detention calls for the ICE locator, and federal pretrial or court-ordered custody may involve the U.S. Marshals Service. A missing VINE result does not establish freedom from custody.

  • VINELink is not a complete Pulaski County arrest feed.
  • It does not provide a full criminal court history.
  • It is not an official warrant search.
  • It is not a booking-photo archive or mugshot gallery.
  • Its notices depend on data sent by participating systems.

For later state prison or supervision status, Kentucky's official KOOL search serves a different population than PCDC's just-booked roster. These tools mark separate custody stages and are not interchangeable.

Note: County jail, Kentucky DOC, federal prison, immigration custody, and court records each require their own official source.

VINELink Is Not Guilt

A custody alert is not a court ruling. It tells you where a person is held in Pulaski County, nothing more. Charges can change or drop later, so treat any VINELink result as a snapshot of jail status rather than a legal conclusion. The Pulaski Court of Justice handles arraignments, filings, and case outcomes, and its docket is the place to confirm what actually happened in court.

Timing gaps happen. A custody alert may arrive before the court docket catches up, or a judge may sign a release order before the facility finishes processing it. Note the date and time of each notice. Then verify the current facility and check the docket for the legal event behind the change.

Registrations need upkeep, too. Kentucky lets users edit a VINELink registration directly. Update your phone number or email when it changes. Keep the four-digit PIN somewhere safe. If you selected both a local jail and DOC result, review each registration on its own, since an outdated contact route can stop a notice from arriving even when the system worked.

If danger is immediate, call emergency services or the responsible law-enforcement agency. VINE is automated information, not a safety plan. The Attorney General's guidance warns plainly against relying on it alone for protection.
